Picked up a handfed, sexed female, Cherry Headed Conure last month (h/d 7/25/11) to eventually set up with a male for breeding. For now, my son and I are raising and socializing the bird.
Purchased the bird at a fair price, was about 3-4 weeks weened and kept with 2 mitred conures. The bird needed a bit of work up front, but within a week was doing fairly well, and now is as tame as if I had handfed myself.
